Digital Transformation in The Egyptian Government

 

Session Description:

In this session we will discuss the governmental projects and ICT companies roll in projects execution, more over Eng. Khaled will discuss projects needs which will help companies to realize what will they provide and to assist them to focus more in projects requirements

 

Speaker's Bio:

 

Khaled El Attar is the ICT Infrastructure Director at the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology. He has more than 30 years of experience in the informatics field where he worked in IBM for 28 years, Raya for two years and as a lecturer at Cairo University for one year.

El Attar supervised more than a hundred projects including, among others, implementing financial payment system for the Central Bank of Saudi Arabia and Saudi pension system, completing more than 10 services for Egypt's Government Services Portal, executing Egypt’s real estate funding system, automating banking services for more than five banks, supervising the establishment of an information and administrative systems for a Saudi bank and Saudi Mobily and creating e-service system for power companies in Saudi Arabia. This is in addition to technically supervising text search engine for IBM; and contributing to the establishment of more than 10 e-portals in Egypt and Saudi Arabic including Saudi bourse, Egypt’s parliament, the Egyptian television and a number of bank portals. He also supervised the formulation of a work group to provide informatics and consultation services for the Saudi banking sector, and contributed effectively in creating IBM international lab for software in Egypt which serves customers around the globe.
