Eng. Yasser Ghanim Quality Expert

Business in brief

Yasser Ghanim has twenty years of experience in the IT industry. He possesses a wide range of expertise in IT Standards and Process Improvement models in the areas of Applications Lifecycle Management, IT Service Management and Enterprise Architecture. He gained in-depth experience in the commonly accepted models and technologies such as CMMI for Development, CMMI for Services, ITIL, ISTQB, IBM RUP and TUP...etc.

Yasser is an Authorized instructor from the CMMI Institute, Carnegie Mellon University, USA to provide the formal Introduction to CMMI for Dev. course. He is also a member of SECC consultation team to provide consultation services on a number of SECC services including CMMI for Dev, CMMI for Serv. SW Testing, SPIG, Agile...etc. He teaches a wide range of training courses within the fields of SW Engineering and Quality Management. During his career with SECC, Yasser helped in establishing and building capacity for a number of SECC services. He led a team to establish SECC Software Testing services and develop SECC Software Testing guides. He is currently in charge of implementing Egypt's national strategy of the Free and Open Source Software. Yasser is also active in research and participated in a number of international Process Improvement conferences and is a speaker in different events.

Yasser comes from a software development background. He worked as software developer, system architect, business analyst, project manager, IT manager and quality manager for a number of multinational and regional companies were he gained his experience in the different aspects of software engineering and IT service management.

Yasser graduated in Ain Shams University, Faculty of Science, Pure Mathematics and Computer Science department in 1994. He holds Master degree in Technology and Business Administration from the Arab Academy for Science Technology and Business Administration.
