About “Egyptian Electronics and embedded system centers of excellence” EEECoE

In partnership with Mentor-Siemens, Brightskies, ASITA and Delta Technopreneurs, EiTESAL NGO has been awarded a 1.2 million Euros grant from the European Commission under the EU’s program of “Innovation for Inclusive Growth and Job Creation”.

The fund is directed towards implementing the “Egyptian Electronics and embedded system centers of excellence” project which will be an excellent opportunity for promoting a systemic change in the enterprise ecosystem and supporting the inclusive economic development potential of Egypt and its private sector.

EEECoE Project is designed to provide a roadmap for electronics and embedded systems industry development in Egypt through:

• Establishment of (3) centers of excellence in Upper Egypt, Delta and Northern region (Borg al-Arab) to create/develop the ecosystem for electronics and embedded systems industries.
• Preparing students for the job market through Mentor-Siemens Academy.
• Creation of (3) incubation programs in these (3) CoEs, incubate 15 electronic and embedded start-ups and provide all needed services to ensure best results. Our services will include seed funding, access to labs, mentorship, training, etc.
• Provide ideation and entrepreneurship readiness programs to increase awareness and readiness of young innovators to start their companies.
• Provide R&D facilities for MSMEs to improve their products and increase their competitiveness.
