About Egypt IoT & AI Challenge

A Nation-wide pre incubation program for senior university students, high school student, and start-ups that have innovative ideas in the areas of Internet of Things (IoT), Artificial Intelligence (AI), and related fields.
The main goal of Egypt IoT & AI Challenge is to create a great pool of talents and technical skills to leverage Egypt, And Arab region’s digital economic growth; that’s why we are trying to engage the whole Arab innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem in the program. Participation in any of the tracks is free of charge.


1- Graduation Projects
This track is targeting senior university students of related schools who are willing to complete a graduation project in one of the IoT and AI fields in general. This track starts by a roadshow and info sessions to the senior students to bring to their attention the pool of opportunities they can pursue with their graduation projects and ideas. The target is to spread the IoT & AI knowledge, and students to gain more “technical” skills, and to learn about the technology market. Participants will have access to technology and innovation resources and will have the opportunity for financial support/sponsorship for their projects as well.

2. Startup’s
This track is a pre-incubation program targeting tech start-ups that are already working, or willing to work in smart future and smart cities applications. During the program, participants go through intensive technical, business & innovation trainings and will be offered the needed resources to help them develop working prototypes and business models for their products/services. One of the top benefits participants get is networking with top-notch investors from across the region.

3. Stem School
Senior high school students in STEM schools across Arab countries to get trained on design thinking and selected technical topics related to new technologies in a semester-long program.
